MAKE ME OVER!!
All of my friends are now targets for my "Make Me Over" makeup series. So meet April who was my first fresh face!
April wanted to learn how to achieve the smokey eye look so I used the 120 Palette using the light, medium and darker silver and finished up the look using the black. There were alot of people talking (Mary Kay party) so I wasnt able to do a tutorial on this one I just took photos (which I accidentally deleted the best one!!). On the photo above I had already applied the foundation and gotten started on her left brow.I used MAC brow shadow on the eyebrows,L'Oreal eyeliner in "carbon" and L'Oreal mascara.
Here is April after:
Mary Kay Party
So last night my friend Mellonee had a Mary Kay party. It was fun and informative.I use the Moisturizer,3-in-1 Cleanser,Day Solution,Night Solution and The Satin Skin Line regularly but I learned about some other cool products.I was in love with the eye primer and the under eye cold cream! Mary Kay's line really has something for everyone. Not only did I get to get updated on some new things but I had a really fun time hanging out with my friends. So throw a Mary Kay party and get some products that are designed for those areas you wanna fix and have fun!

Did you know???

Alot of people are using Monistat chafing gel as a makeup primer.I know your probably thinking "Monistat,on my face??" but yes it works great. This is one Monistat product that actually isnt meant to use on your.....you know. Just apply after you put on your moisturizer and let it dry before you put on your foundation. Most primers can cost up to $36 but this falls around $7.You cant beat that.
***I did some research on this product and I found some reasons why women love to use it:
· Dries to a powder finish.
· Creates a matte surface so makeup glides on and stays on.
· Smooths out large pores, uneven skin tone and blemishes.
· Prevents breakouts.
· Allows for much smoother for eye shadow application on mature skin.
· Keeps make-up looking fresh by locking it in.
· Makes your face look youthful and dewy.
· Helps concealer glide on.
· Doesn't feel greasy.
· Helps mineral make up last longer and look less cakey.
· Makeup stays on for 8+ hours, looking as good as when first applied.
· Excellent mattifier on top of any cream/lotion/sunscreen
.· Fragrance free.
· Non-irritating.
· Non-toxic
.· Non-staining
· Smooths skin texture which reflects light and eliminates shadows (so you look younger)
· Tasteless (if someone kisses your cheek)
· Non-pore-clogging (non-comedogenic)
· Keeps your makeup fresh in 100+ degree heat (great for summer)
· Gentle enough to use every day.
· Softens appearance of fine lines.
So try it out and let me know what you think!

Orange and Turquiose using the 120 Palette
So I got my 120 palette that I ordered on ebay the other day and I couldnt wait to use it!I have seen this palette alot on youtube so I decided to get it and see what it was all about. Alot of people get them off of Coastal Scents.com but I prefer to order on ebay for some things because you can find a lower price. I was in the car doing this look (really, really couldnt wait to use it lol) so I decided to post it. The light was very bright so the orange looked like it was yellow ugh!
Here is the palette

Here is the palette
The colors are very pigmented, some better than others, but I do think its worth it to have this.I made this look in the morning and it was hot all day and my makeup still looked the same at nite and it had no creases.I was amazed at that. You can come up with sooo many looks and its easy to travel with for those of you who carry alot of makeup. I give this product two thumbs up!
